Los Angeles Regional Seminar 2019: Voir Dire
03/22/2019 - 03/24/2019
Los Angeles, California - Embassy Suites LAX South
This seminar is in partnership and collaboration with the John M. Langston Bar Association (https://www.langstonbar.org/), in support of their mission: To empower leadership, advance the professional development of its membership, and promote the administration of justice in the Black community and the community at large. The Trial Lawyer’s College Voir Dire Seminar introduces you to a method of jury selection in which you will learn how to identify the danger points in your cases, to reframe them into points of power, and how to approach potential jurors as an inclusive, rather than exclusive, process. You will divide into small groups to work on your own cases where you will learn by doing, not by struggling through endless lectures. Join TLC’s faculty team of trial lawyers, behavioral and communication experts to learn how to become the leader of your tribe -- one composed of you and your jurors -- who together will win justice for your client.
Located less than two miles from LAX Airport, the 100% non-smoking Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles International Airport South hotel offers all two-room suites and complimentary airport shuttle service. Explore some of the area’s best beaches and most popular attractions from our full-service hotel in El Segundo just outside of the Los Angeles city limits. Just 14 miles from LA Memorial Coliseum – current home of the Los Angeles Rams and 13 miles from StubHub Center – current home of the Los Angeles Chargers.
