Alaska Regional Seminar 2019: Voir Dire
02/22/2019 - 02/24/2019
Anchorage, Alaska - Alyeska Resort
The Trial Lawyer’s College Voir Dire Seminar introduces you to a method of jury selection in which you will learn how to identify the danger points in your cases, to reframe them into points of power, and how to approach potential jurors as an inclusive, rather than exclusive, process. You will divide into small groups to work on your own cases where you will learn by doing, not by struggling through endless lectures. Join TLC’s faculty team of trial lawyers, behavioral and communication experts to learn how to become the leader of your tribe -- one composed of you and your jurors -- who together will win justice for your client.
Tucked amid the Chugach Mountains on Alaska's south central coast, Alyeska Resort is the place to discover the wilderness and expansive beauty of the Last Frontier. Located in Girdwood, just 40 miles from Anchorage and the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, Alyeska Resort is your base camp for summer and winter excursions. The resort is near three national parks and the Kenai Peninsula, and surrounded by the Chugach Mountains.
Staff must arrive by 5 PM on Thursday, 2/21
