At this 4-day seminar in Leavenworth, Washington, you will learn the TLC methods necessary to discover the winning story. You will learn how to tap into your own power to bring these stories to life in the courtroom. Taught by trial lawyers trial lawyers and behavioral and communication experts [at least a 6:1 student-faculty ratio], you will learn our innovative TLC methods by doing, not suffering through endless lectures. Small group work on your own cases will help make our methods immediately accessible to you in the courtroom. Sleeping Lady and the land it occupies enjoy a rich and storied past. From the area’s Native American roots, to the 1930s when it was home to Camp Icicle and the Civilian Conservation Corps, to its role today as a leading Northwest destination – Sleeping Lady embodies the natural beauty and history of Leavenworth and the Wenatchee Valley.

Course registration closes on Monday, October 21, 2019 unless the course sells out earlier.
Several articles are required reading as a part of your course. Printed copies will not be provided to you. Download the TLC course materials on our website https://www.triallawyerscollege.org/register-for-a-course/course-materials/.
Applicant must be a member of their State Bar in good standing. Must also be a plaintiff's lawyer, public defender, or a criminal defense lawyer. TLC does not offer training to attorneys who are an employee of a corporation, insurance firm or of the federal government (other than legal services or public defenders).
The course fee ($1699) includes tuition, airport shuttle service, and double-occupancy hotel room (3 nights: Thurs./Fri./Sat.) and board (8 meals: Thurs. dinner to Sun. breakfast) at the Sleeping Lady Resort. You will be assigned to a room with at least one other lawyer of the same gender (some rooms have 3 beds; 1 room has 8 bunkbeds). Bring earplugs in case your roommate snores.
Dress code: Plan to dress in comfort, not in style. For classtime, sneakers, jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts and casual outfits are appropriate. The venue offers ample opportunity to experience the great outdoors, so bring weather-appropriate outerwear as well.
Free shuttle service will be provided on 10/24 (departing airport at 1 PM) and 10/27 (departing Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort at 12:30 PM) from/to the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (airport code: SEA).
An email will be sent to registered attendees with shuttle and course information.
The entire balance for a TLC course is due 90 days after the start date of the course, unless other arrangements have been made with the Registrar or Financial Officer. Any registrations made within 5 days of the start of the course must be paid in full at the time of registration. Tuition payments are only transferable to another TLC course within the same calendar year or to a substitute participant for the same course. Cancellations must be e-mailed to TLCs Registrar, firstname.lastname@example.org. For all courses except Graduate I and Graduate II:Cancellations received at least 14 calendar days prior to the course will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 13 – 6 calendar days prior to the course will receive a 50% refund. We regret that no refunds can be made 5 days or less prior to the start date of the course. Graduate I and Graduate II Course Cancellation Policy: All students must remit a non-refundable $500 deposit at the time of registration to hold their space in the course. After that, the traditional cancellation policy applies.
