ABOUT

TLC’s Graduate Course II is an intensive, one-week program that focuses on advanced trial skills and story structure, giving students a deeper understanding of TLC methods. Designed for more experienced practitioners, Graduate Course II focuses on further development of trial skills that were introduced and taught in the three-week course.

With psychodrama as the foundation, the TLC faculty at Grad Course II will call upon your creativity to find new and innovative ways to become an inspiring force in the courtroom, as well as in your everyday practice. We also present special guests from the non-profit storytelling project The Moth, teaching students storytelling structure and skills; afterwards, students learn application of that structure to their cases.

Led by a team of experienced TLC-trained trial lawyers and TLC-trained psychodramatists [at least an 8:1 student-faculty ratio], you will continue to refine and develop your command of TLC methods by doing, not enduring endless lectures. Hands-on, small group work, in your own cases, with top TLC faculty and special guests, make these courses an absolute must for the TLC graduate.

Join us at YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado for the week of August 20-27 for Graduate Course II and learn more advanced and creative ways to bring your clients’ stories to life in the courtroom to win the justice they deserve.

LOCATION

Estes Park Center is adjacent to Rocky Mountain National Park. It offers plenty of space to gather—indoor and out— with outdoor chapels, fire rings, athletic fields and amphitheaters.

FACULTY

All Trial Lawyers College courses are taught by graduates of the College, who volunteer their time, talents and resources to provide high-quality training not offered in any other CLE program. Because our faculty are volunteers, and are actively practicing in their respective firms, our faculty list is subject to change.
