Greg and Kate Harbaugh
Wayne and Kathy
Caretakers

We are Greg and Kate Harbaugh. We met in college at Montana State University twenty-nine years ago and have been married for twenty-six years. We raised three great children on our farm in northeastern Nebraska, and also welcomed our granddaughter Natalie there before deciding to go west where are hearts really lie. We landed in Jackson Hole six years ago where Greg continued his profession as a farrier and Kate had seasonal jobs.

We can't say enough about the beauty of western Wyoming and we feel very fortunate to continue to live in the majestic beauty of the area here at the Thunderhead Ranch. We are excited to be able to put our combined skills to work here at the College to help preserve the property for present and future students and staff to enjoy!

Rachel Armstrong
Rachel
Ranch Staff

My name is Rachel Armstrong and I am the mother of two children, McKenzie and Hunter. We moved to Dubois two years ago from Texas and have found Dubois and the surrounding area perfect for us. We love to walk in the mountains and kayaking is one of my favorite summer pastimes when I am not riding my Missouri Fox Trotter.

I grew up in a Navy family so have moved many times. However, I was born in Texas and I grew up mainly in Kentucky and Tennessee, so I am a true southern girl. I appreciate fine foods and foreign cuisine and those interests led me to attend Sullivan Culinary College where I learned to prepare and serve the foods I love. This year I am looking forward to working at Thunderhead Ranch for the summer, attending Nursing School during the winter, and returning to work and enjoy the beauty of the ranch next year.

Jacob Warren
Grounds and Building Maintenance

Jacob joins us from Central Kentucky (Versailles) where he is a Montessorie School Teacher during the winter months. This is Jacob's second trip to Wyoming as he has many family members who live in Dubois. He enjoys wood-working and is just a few hours away from obtaining his private pilot's license. Jacob has big plans this summer to hike, fish and kayak in the Wind Rivers during his stay on the Thunderhead.

Head Chef and Assistant Chef/Baker

We are excited to be returning to the staff at TLC this season. We look forward to seeing former TLC students and staff, as well as meeting new people,  and feeding you all healthy and delicious meals! We have been traveling in our motor-home for the past five years, and have visited 47 states. We were born in Hawaii and California and resided in Palm Springs, California before we ventured out onto the open road. We both enjoy the outdoors, the ocean and river water, movies and good food at any Diner -- Drive in and Dive! We look forward to having a terrific season. We're bringing along our miniature schnauzer, Kailani, who also loves nice people!
Bryan McIntyre
Kitchen Assistant

This is Bryan's third summer at the Trial Lawyers College working with Gerald and Vivian to help with our food preparation. Working 14 hour days during each of the courses on the ranch, Bryan hears and sees all in the dining room and always greets the students with respect and a hot pot of coffee. He hails originally from Sheridan, Wyoming and will begin his senior year at the University of Iowa studying Cinema and Film Production. Upon his graduation next May, he claims to be LA-bound, but we hope that he knows he is always welcome on the Thunderhead Ranch!
